Gower's Company was originally
formed in 1998.
Gower's Company
is a family centered unit dedicated
to preserving and honoring the
memory of the men
and women
whose lives were changed by the
War of 1812.
Our members hail from
throughout the Great Lakes region
and beyond,
covering a vast range
of professions, ages, and expertise.

Smith's Company
Region: Nebraska, Kansas
We portray Company I, which in the time
period of
Fort Atkinson was under the
command of Captain
Bennett Riley whom
the present day Fort Riley in
Kansas is
named after. For War of 1812, our
company portrays Smith's Company, First
Regt.
commanded by Capt. William Smith.
We are a
dedicated group of individuals,
and in some cases
their families, who
strive to accurately recreate the
First Regiment of United States Riflemen. |

Forsyth's Rifles
Region: New York and Canada
Members of Forsyth's Rifles, Inc.
re-enact the French and Indian War,
the American Revolution, the War of
1812, and the American Civil War. The
units strive to accurately portray late
18th and early 19th century military
history using appropriate reproduction
clothing, accouterments, arms, and artillery |

Our intention is to
portray the unit
as they would have appeared at Fort
Knox, Indiana
and at the Battle of
Tippecanoe during 1811.
